LOL. Wouldn't have missed it for the world. We had another two years later. Now we're geezers and have a couple of young kids, 23 and 21. Being older parents was good in some ways. We have more perseverance. I think younger parents have more energy and patience. Guess it all works out.Roxannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08196747496651546918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4230664367733655045.post-72936746326821471652010-08-12T23:46:45.830-04:002010-08-12T23:46:45.830-04:00Dr. JulieAnn--The actual "rules" are str...Dr. JulieAnn--The actual "rules" are straight from the original magazines and there is no other commentary by the publisher except what was on the back cover.

The pictures are lovely vintage shots.

It's a shame that it is presented as a "gag" gift.

I'm still a bit miffed that they said a 25th anniversary party needs "a little comical relief."

Way to honor people who have shown commitment and loyalty to one another for such a long time!Roxannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05633120497088511282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4230664367733655045.post-73745907771351561812010-08-12T18:21:11.493-04:002010-08-12T18:21:11.493-04:00I've seen that book, too! They are kinder to strangers than to the man they CHOSE to marry.

My aunt was like that. She might just come up as an example--a bad one!

I hope this will be an encouraging and thought-provoking series!Roxannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05633120497088511282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4230664367733655045.post-65586184782165111452010-08-12T09:06:33.193-04:002010-08-12T09:06:33.193-04:00Can't wait! I know, sounds like of lame and old fashioned, but honestly, why wouldn't you want to be good to your husband?

Have you ever noticed women that don't want to be good to their husbands are the most unhappy people ever?
