First Shopping Day

I went grocery shopping this evening. It took 20 minutes, most of it spent walking to the different areas and standing in line.

I bought:

• Milk
• Lettuce
• Bananas
• Toilet paper

The groceries came to $8.66. The toilet paper was on sale and we have only 4 rolls left in the house. I consider that a necessary purchase. That cost $16.00.

This week's total bill was $25.76.

I will keep a running tab of groceries (not papergoods) bought during my experiment. I'll even count what I buy for Christmas dinner. Why not?
