I just realized that I used the WRONG couch picture in the seating area. I reupholstered the couch HERE. I edited the post to show the correct picture.
So, when deciding about the colors, keep the NEW couch fabric in mind. It's actually an important clue. If you'd like to revise your guess, that would be fine.

I love the colors and fabrics you have chosen for your home.......what a great treat reading about your special time in the 1962 house! It really did seem like a trip back in time. I am certain it will remain a special memory that will give you much pleasure your entire life. How amazing that house sat quietly intact waiting for someone to appreciate the life environment it could offer. It's lovely you got to be the one who could enjoy it before it was dismantled. Dianne--I'm glad you enjoyed my 1962 house. Every once in a while I drive by and wish that they had been willing to let it be for just a little while longer.
The house if for sale. Without the early 60s decor it just doesn't have as much personality.
